Zeresh Books offer books on this website for individual customers. We distribute our books to bookshops in Israel through Dialogue. Please contact us with any questions or offers of co-operation – our contact details are at the end of this page.

Communication

By entering your e-mail address in the order form or elsewhere on this website, you give us permission to contact you regarding your order, as well as regarding new books (up to 4 promotional e-mail messages yearly). Your e-mail address shall not be transferred to third parties. You may reply and request to unsubscribe from promotional e-mail, and your address shall be removed from the mailing list.

Privacy

When you place an order, we collect details such as your name, mailing address, email address and phone number. We will never allow any third-parties access to this information, and we will not use them except to fulfil your order or to contact you as above. Credit card payment details are not saved after payment clears. You may write to us with any question or concern about privacy, or to request that your information be permanently deleted.

Payment

Orders (including pre-orders) where the chosen payment method is bank transfer or payment application may be kept for one month after the email with payment details has been sent. If payment isn’t received within one month, the order may be cancelled by us with no further notice.

Orders where the chosen payment method is cash on pickup will be kept for one month after the email with pickup details has been sent. If the order isn’t picked up (and paid for) within one month, the order may be cancelled by us with no further notice.

When paying by credit card, if the payment does not clear, the order will be cancelled.

Preorders

We occasionally offer books that we are still working on, at a lower cost than the full price when the book is published. This allows us to work on the book. Of course, we cannot deliver such books within the usual time frames. Until the book is published and posted to you, you may write to us and cancel or change your order.

Shipping

Printed books ordered on this website will be posted to buyers within 7 business days of payment, unless stated otherwise on the product page (e.g., in the case of pre-sale, or when the book is out of stock).

Shipping methods:

• HFD: registered post with delivery confirmation (within Israel).
• Israel Post: registered post with delivery confirmation (both within Israel and internationally).
• Local pickup: collect your books from Kfar Saba, Jerusalem or Rehovot; once you’ve paid for your order, we will contact you to co-ordinate pickup.

Zeresh Books are not responsible for delivery times once the package is shipped. In any case of delay, please write to us and we’ll be happy to try and help get your order to you, or your money will be returned.

For electronic books ordered on this website, buyers will receive a separate e-mail message with a download link (if relevant, the download format can be chosen at the link; the licence includes one digital format only). The message will usually be sent within a couple of hours of payment. The download link will remain available for at least 30 days; if the need ever arise to download the book again and the link is not available, please contact Zeresh Books to receive a new link. The e-mail message shall be sent to the e-mail address given on the order form, unless requested otherwise in the order notes.

The shipping promotion when purchasing two Zeresh books does not include or apply to adopted books.

Local pickup orders must be picked up within one year of payment (except pre-orders, which must be picked up within one year of availability).

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled by sending us an e-mail message with the order details, subject to the law. Printed books may be returned within 14 days and in new condition only; return shipping will be paid by the customer. Shipping costs are non-refundable once the order has shipped. The purchase of electronic books cannot be cancelled after they have been downloaded.

Warranty

All books sold by Zeresh Books are provided “as is”, with no warranty whatsoever as to their content.

Intellectual property

Books published by Zeresh Books are the intellectual property of Zeresh Books and their respective authors. E-books sold on this website are licensed for the buyer’s own use only, and are marked accordingly, both visibly and invisibly.

The purchase of books on this website, and the download of digital copies whereof, constitute acceptance of these terms of use.

Orders placed on this website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel only. In any case of conflict, the Hebrew version of this document shall prevail.
